Quad Cortex, more than a game changer
Neural DSP is a Helsinki, Finland-based company that uses neural audio processing technology to create guitar amp simulation plugins and hardware (Quad Cortex) products for the music industry. In just a few short years, the company has grown from two to over 100 people.
Quad Cortex was their first product, and it created such buzz when it launched that it was nearly always on backorder. Neural DSP has been known for its killer video content since its launch. Bespoke videos for Tim Henson, Rabea Massaad, and Tom Morello were the standard, and when they were ready to launch a software app to control the Quad Cortex, we chatted about communicating with their rabid fan base with an animated approach.
To appeal to their predominantly metal fan base, we created a dark but fun character who can be transported to different musical worlds with an easy click on his laptop (running the Cortex Control app, of course). The results speak for themselves.
Holy Buzz Batman
When the coolest music tech brand ever asked us to help promote their newest amazing software, we knew we had to create something especially badass and eye-popping. With Neural DSP’s trust throughout the creative process, and our friend Rabea’s insane guitar riffs, we built a truly stunning animated story. It set Instagram ablaze as soon as it dropped with “One of the sickest promo videos in this space yet,” “This video is on another level,” and “Whoever animated this fucking killed it,” being some of the many stellar comments. Users were truly captivated by the animation, and we were thrilled to boggle some minds.
